Experience how Leanworx helps eliminate hidden inefficiencies.
Aaran1 Engineering holds a special place in Leanworx history.
It was the peak of summer in 2018. I was on a noisy shop floor in Rajkot when I received a call. The voice on the line had a foreign accent, and with the background clatter, I struggled to understand him at first. Then it became clear—I was speaking to an Englishman who ran a precision machining company in Hyderabad, and he wanted to try out Leanworx.
That was my first conversation with Gavin Price.
Gavin had heard about Leanworx from a friend in the UK and wanted to try it out on 16 machines. We had just launched Leanworx at IMTEX 2017 and were thrilled to get inbound interest—especially from some aerospace parts maker in Hyderabad.
I flew to Hyderabad to meet him. Gavin turned out to be a pucca hard core manufacturing veteran who worked in the UK and Pune in high-precision engineering—sharp, widely read, and with interests ranging from precision machining to building fishing boats & other angling equipment and running Italian restaurants. And make no mistake: he is a tough businessman with zero tolerance for mediocrity.
We installed Leanworx. It worked, but not flawlessly. Our product was young, the IoT layer misbehaved, the internet at the shop floor was not great, and data occasionally went missing. Gavin did not hesitate—he promptly threw us out.
But I stayed in touch. Because spending 30 minutes with Gavin can teach you what takes 30 days to learn elsewhere.
Over the years, Gavin explored several other global solutions. None met his standards. Then, in 2023, after seeing the new Leanworx at IMTEX, he messaged me. “Looks impressive,” he said. He gave us another shot.
This time, we were more than ready.
Today, Leanworx tracks about 60 machines at Aaran1—a factory that is growing rapidly, qualifying for stringent certifications, and pushing boundaries every day. Gavin is busy signing multi-million-dollar long-term contracts with aerospace biggies.
We are proud to grow alongside Gavin and his team.
Thank you, Gavin, for the second chance.

Can’t Afford Coffee: Running a Machine Shop or a Hobby?
Everyone loves coffee. Who doesn’t enjoy the aroma of a fresh brew first thing in the morning? Coffee is a lot more than a drink; it is a global daily ritual.
The Seduction, The Regret, and The Rescue.
We recently hired a young marketing team, and one of them casually asked, “Who’s our ICP (Ideal Customer Profile)?” Tough question—especially in the fragmented world of manufacturing.
Big moment for India–UK manufacturing!
The newly signed Free Trade Agreement is like removing the speed bumps between two manufacturing powerhouses.
The Butterfly Effect
On my flight from Hyderabad, the lady seated next to me asked why we have a butterfly as our company logo. “Does it stand for freedom or something else?” she asked. I said, “We help our customers solve the butterfly effect on their shop floors.”
