Discover Hidden Hours - Focus on What Matters.

During my visit to Gurgaon in March 2025, I dropped by Vineet’s factory for a quick chat. Vineet, in his late 40s, is young, sharp, witty, fond of green tea and always in a rush. A mechanical engineer by education, he built his company from scratch over 12 years and is rightly proud of his machines, his team, and his work.

Vineet had visited us at IMTEX 2023 and shown keen interest in Leanworx. We even ran a successful trial at his factory. But after that — nothing. He didn’t buy it. Then, out of the blue, in June 2024, almost 18 months later, he called our sales team and signed up. Today, he is one of our most active users.

Sitting in his office sipping his green tea, I casually asked him, “Why did you wait 18 months to decide?”

At first hee’d and hawed but later told me his story. His story shocked me. It is a wake-up call for others too.

Vineet had suffered his first heart attack. Too much stress, his doctor said. If he wanted to live long, he had to slow down immediately. That warning call made him stop visiting the shop floor every day. His doctor advised him to pick up a sport — something to de-stress.

On a holiday in Thailand, Vineet discovered golf and fell in love with it. On his 47th birthday, he gifted himself a weekend coaching at the local golf club. Bought new clubs, blocked off his Wednesday and Saturday mornings.

But his peace was short-lived. The calls never stopped.

Machine breakdowns. Quality issues. Absent operators. No production data. He would be on the golf course, trying to fix problems on WhatsApp, calling his team, apologizing to his customers, and half-listening to his coach. His hands held the phone more than his irons; even his coach gave up on him.
What irritated Vineet most was that his golf buddy — who ran a similar factory in the same city; they even shared a few customers— seemed calm and relaxed. No calls, no tension, and getting better at golf week after week. One Saturday, over coffee at the club, Vineet asked him, “How do you stay so calm? We run the same kind of factory, but I am drowning in problems every day.”

His friend smiled and said, “I used to be like that too. Until I realised my factory was running me. Now I let Leanworx run the factory, and I run my life.” He pulled out his phone and showed Vineet a simple dashboard- “Leanworx” gives me real-time production data, machine-wise efficiency, operator productivity, downtimes, and rejections — all on my phone. I don’t wait for shift-end reports anymore. I act while things are happening. And my team knows I am watching, so they have mended their ways.”

That very night, Vineet called our team. A week later, Leanworx was live in his factory. And today, Vineet is back on the golf course — healthy, calm, and finally enjoying the game he loves.

The Seduction, The Regret, and The Rescue.

We recently hired a young marketing team, and one of them casually asked, “Who’s our ICP (Ideal Customer Profile)?” Tough question—especially in the fragmented world of manufacturing.
